Welcome to Starlight Tides!

Starting this business is exciting and terrifying and a total dream.

For most of my life I had very little that was completely mine and it ate at me. Following a period of tumultuous and drastic changes, I started making choices that improved my sense of self worth, and my love of jewelry bloomed. I found jewelry to be a critical tool of self expression and I went from 5 pieces to over 60 within a year. I got 8 new piercings and selecting my jewelry every morning became a treasured daily ritual.

As time has gone by and life gets more complicated, I’ve found I struggle with keeping my love of lightness and spontaneity present in day to day life. The world is such a mess and the weight of just getting by is heavy. Some days there’s not energy or time left over to do something for yourself. My hope is you find a piece here you can wear to remind yourself that you adapt and persevere, and you are worthy of a piece of light and beauty that is completely yours.
